Prior to relocating to Florida, Claire worked with a neurologist specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from traumatic brain injury or stroke. Claire also volunteered with the Flying Samaritans, an organization providing free medical care at clinics throughout Mexico. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Claire worked as an operating room technician in cardiothoracic surgery and as a paramedic. Claire is currently conducting research into the relationship between alcohol use and the onset of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
